One of the UK's leading retailers of computer games and accessories seek a Content Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established retail brand with a growing online presence which is becoming increasingly important to the overall business.

The role of Content Manager is crucial in developing customer relationships, sales and marketing communications.

• Responsible for the accurate representation of offline offers to online shoppers. • Effective purposing of content to sell games and to develop a trusted and authentic ‘voice’ that customers value and find distinctive. • To ensure maximum possible coverage across all brands including product descriptions, screenshots, packshots, videos, system requirements, reviews, previews, features and interviews. • Work with marketing and design to create product hubs and promotional mailers. • Production and maintenance of the website working with marketing and design to effectively merchandise and promote products online and via e-mail communications. • Liaison with the technical team and work to prioritise and develop the site hand in hand with them on business driven objectives. • Development of external supplier relationships to supply ‘value added’ content and services to customers. • Writing of external customer communications and internal information sections such as Help and FAQs. • Responsible for overseeing the production and sending of the weekly newsletter. • Working with developers to improve User Interface, User Experience and Customer Journey across the websites. • Responsible for the user review policy and upholding that policy through moderation of submitted content. • Maintain the news relationship, read articles daily and feed back where necessary.

Experience

• Customer service experience, web production and technical experience and ability to write clearly in addition to being able to communicate clearly. • Must be literate in the areas of web production, multiplayer gaming, console and PC gaming. • An understanding of HTML principles is essential – knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop desirable. • Understanding of principles of SEO. • Management skills.
