Digital Associate Director (DR) - #1 Digital Agency - up to £65k
Leading Central London digital agency requires x2 AD's for various DR accounts. 1 AD paying to £50k and another more senior AD paying to £65k.
The role is working in a leading department of multi-media planners and buyers responsible for the identification and execution of Direct Media opportunities across all channels including digital.
The Digital Associate Director role has been created to support the growth of digital within the department that is intrinsic but not specific to the development of the agencies e-commerce offering,
The Direct teams are responsible for digital strategy; the Digital AD is there to create the right skills and knowledge within the team. The Digital AD must kick-start this process by obtaining the right brief from the client; scoping their needs and current digital assets and engaging with the relevant stake-holders.
The proliferation of digital choices available for media, targeting, tracking and site-side optimisation requires someone with depth of experience to allow the team to stay on top of new opportunities and put forward the best solution for client first time, every time.
The role requires a clear communicator, a team player; someone who enjoys collaborating and passing on their knowledge, and who is able to handle several projects simultaneously.
They need to be able to develop best practice processes in direct digital media and e-commerce optimisation services across a diverse range of businesses from some of the world’s biggest brands to DR advertisers built bottom up from sales.
Skills required:
• Substantial digital media planning and buying experience
• Knowledge of display, shopping, search, affiliates, aggregators, mobile, social media, SEO
• Detailed knowledge of, and experience at advising, setting up and evolving Direct Response advertisers
• Ecommerce and direct to consumer advertising experience
• Proven ability to develop best practise processes
• Wide-ranging knowledge of ad serving, optimisation and web analytics technologies
• In-depth knowledge of digital measurement techniques and how to implement
• Knowledge of ‘offline’ media measurement techniques
• Able to handle senior client relationships
• Proven strategic capability
• Ability to apply related world scenarios to challenges posed by clients
• Able to clearly communicate ideas and strategies
• Proven experience of having delivered innovation
• New business – generation / participation
• Digital training material development and presentation
• Developing and motivating department and agency members
• Identify agency training needs and implement
• A self-starter who is passionate and committed to excellent client service
