Senior Account Manager - E-Marketing Agency - to £50k + bonus

Fantastic new role at one of the UK's leading full-service agencies. The role involves working closely with major blue chip clients on all e-marketing related activity, paying up to £50k + bonus.

The SAM role involves dealing with client queries on a day to day basis and also getting heavily involved in f2f client meetings. The role has line management responsibility so this is a pre-requisite.

There is plenty of strategic involvement, data focus and quite a lot of project management. SAM’s will put together then delegate briefs for junior team members to implement. Ideally candidates will have 5 years+ DR, email or database marketing experience.

This role is based in central London.

Role summary:
- Act as the primary day to day contact for assigned programmes.
- Effectively communicate requirements to clients, technical, creative and other account staff.
- Track programme performance metrics and interpret results to deliver recommendations for programme improvement tests
- Assist clients with marketing strategy, best practice and strategic implications of their campaigns
- Generate understanding of clients brand and business goals and guidelines and be able to demonstrate this to share ideas during project scoping exercises and client meetings.
- Project Management, including timelines, quality assurance and status meetings

Required Experience:
- 5+ years experience in an agency, email and/or direct marketing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be accountable for part or all of client relationships with limited supervision.
- Project management experience with a good understanding of results driven marketing.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for technology through formal education, strong personal interest or work experience.
- Education/Certifications Degree qualified, preferably with marketing, communications or project management qualifications.
- Team management experience
